❖ LOCATIONS. ( S.S. PHOENIX )
locations [ s.s. phoenix ]
Welcome aboard the S.S. Phoenix!
For the next couple of... well, whatever time you have in your world, you'll be aboard this ship! Given that it's your new home, why not check out what we have?
Given the whole weirdness of space-time travel, the locations of where everything is in the SS Phoenix may change, but don't worry about it--your devices will always have the most up to date maps we've got to offer!
Captain's Room
This is where you can interact with your ship's captain. When the ship isn't travelling to another location, they're generally available here for a chat during all times of the day. Just make sure to knock, first!
Dorms
The dorms are where characters will be sleeping during their stay here.
Upon arrival, unless you've somehow lucked out, you'll find yourself rooming with at least one other person. Roommates are chosen for you versus characters choosing who they get to room with. At least, initially, anyway.
Initial Dorms: Can house up to four people. These are the most basic of rooms where you have two bunk beds and one bathroom.
One Star Dorm: Can house up to two people. You must be Rank 1+ to move into these dorms. Size-wise, it is the same as the initial dorms but you'll at least have some more room to breathe now.
Two Star Dorm: This is for people who want to room by themselves! You must be Rank 2+ to move into these dorms.
For any further dorm upgrades, please contact your captain.
Mission Board
While missions will also be posted on the network, there will also be a physical mission board that can always be found at the center of the ship where all missions will be posted. Characters may sign up for missions here as well.
There will also be a physical map of the current ship locations here as well for everyone to see.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria here is a rather spacious place where characters can eat either by their lonesome or with others. The kind of food you get from here will depend on what rank your character is.
Shops
That's right, you can shop here! There is a small mini-mall aboard the ship where you can buy supplies. These shops mostly carry the essentials: food, clothes, furniture, etc. If you're trying to find things that are less mundane, you might want to look elsewhere.
Restaurants, Dance Clubs, and Pubs
In the general vicinity of the other shops, you can find a plethora of these places. While the food here may be a little better than what you'd get for free at the cafeteria depending on your rank, the stuff here is going to cost a pretty penny. The higher up you go, the more expensive the place is!
Fortune Teller's Booth
Once a week, characters may go here to have their fortune told. Legend has it that all fortunes told at this booth come true. Leave a comment under the fortune teller header to receive your fortune and see what happens!
Hangar
Do you have a mech, giant robot, ship that you were rescued with? Well, you're in luck, because there's a place on the SS Phoenix for you! All of them will be kept safe here. Or at least, it's supposed to, unless someone steals it or tries to destroy the hangar. But what are the odds of that happening?
Pool Area
Here, you have a large swimming pool the size of a lake that you can peruse. There's always a lifeguard on duty and for those who'd rather take the relaxation route, you can also find a nice little jacuzzi in the area, too.
Elevators
There is an elevator on every floor that can move up, down and sometimes even side to side. Let's just hope you don't get too dizzy...
Recreational Area
Here you can find everything that's fun: a place where you can watch movies on holographic devices, games of literally any kind, arcades and every kind of entertainment that you can imagine. And there's one more thing that's better than the rest: a giant ball pit.
Infirmary
Did you get hurt? Well, you can go to the infirmary, where you can get checked out by the local AI doctors!

It seems that you are here for a fortune today, are you? Now tell me: what is it that you seek?"
